การฝึกอบรมงานในอุตสาหกรรมธุรกิจการให้บริการถือเป็นส่วนสำคัญส่วนหนึ่งของหลักสูตรที่โรงเรียนจะทำการจัดหาสถานที่ฝึกอบรมงานที่โรงเรียนได้คัดสรรเป็นอย่างดี 1 แห่ง ต่อปีการศึกษาสำหรับนักเรียน โดยการฝึกอบรมงานนี้ จะทำให้นักเรียนได้รับประสบการณ์ในการทำงานจริงในอุตสาหกรรมธุรกิจการให้บริการที่มีชื่อเสียงในสวิตเซอร์แลนด์ และได้รับการยอมรับจากทั่วโลก ซึ่งในครั้งแรกของการฝึกอบรมงาน นักเรียนจะได้รับตำแหน่งในระดับผู้ช่วยงานที่จะช่วยให้นักเรียนมีโอกาสในการฝึกทักษะ และนำความรู้ที่ศึกษาในระยะเวลา 6 เดือนแรกที่เข้าเรียนที่ สถาบันมาประยุกต์ใช้ โดยนักเรียนในโปรแกรม Culinary จะได้ฝึกอบรมงานในสายงานนี้ ในขณะที่นักเรียนในโปรแกรมการให้บริการ จะได้ฝึกงานในสายงานทางด้านการให้บริการ ฝ่ายงานแม่บ้าน หรือส่วนงานที่ช่วยส่วนงานหลักอื่นๆ อย่างใดอย่างหนึ่ง ซึ่งนักเรียนผู้ที่ประสบความสำเร็จในการฝึกงานในครั้งแรกเป็นอย่างดี อาจได้รับมอบหมายงานที่มีความรับผิดชอบมากขึ้น หรืออาจได้ตำแหน่งที่มีปฏิสัมพันธ์กับลูกค้า ในการฝึกงานครั้งต่อไป
ตลอดระยะเวลาในระหว่างการฝึกอบรมงานแบบมีค่าตอบแทนนี้ นักเรียนจะได้รับการสนับสนุนจากโรงเรียนเป็นอย่างดี ซึ่งโรงเรียนต้องการที่จะช่วยให้นักเรียนได้รับประสบการณ์ที่ดีที่สุด และได้เรียนรู้ให้มากที่สุดเท่าที่จะทำได้ในระหว่างการฝึกอบรมงาน โดยโรงเรียนได้มีการจัดจ้าง ผู้ประสานงานด้านการฝึกอบรมงานเพื่อการนี้โดยฉพาะ
ซึ่งนักเรียนสามารถเข้ารับการให้บริการจากผู้ประสานงานด้านการฝึกทดลองงานนี้ แบบไม่เสียค่าใช้จ่ายใดๆ หากแต่นักเรียนจะต้องมีคุณสมบัติที่พึงประสงค์ต่างๆ ตามที่โรงเรียนกำหนดไว้ ซึ่งประกอบไปด้วย คะแนนผลการทดสอบทางด้านความคิดและอารมณ์ที่ดี การเข้าเรียนในชั้นเรียน เกรดเฉลี่ยอย่างน้อยในระดับต่ำสุดที่โรงเรียนกำหนด และความสามารถในการใช้ภาษาที่ดี ซึ่งนักเรียนส่วนใหญ่มีคุณสมบัติดังกล่าวครบถ้วน
สำหรับในส่วนของค่าตอบแทนหรือเงินเดือนที่นักเรียนจะได้รับในระหว่างการฝึกอบรมงานนั้น ขึ้นอยู่กับการตกลงระหว่างนายจ้างและสหภาพแรงงาน ซึ่งในปัจจุบัน ค่าตอบแทนขั้นต่ำในการทำงานอยู่ที่ 2,168 ฟรังก์สวิส ประมาณ 70,000 บาท โดยจากรายได้ที่นักเรียนจะได้รับนี้ นักเรียนอาจต้องเสียค่าเช่าที่พัก ค่าโดยสาร และภาษี โดยทั่วไปแล้ว นักเรียนจะมีรายได้ต่อเดือนประมาณ ระหว่าง 1,200/1,400ฟรังก์สวิส
